Hey folks - how are we all?

I thought I'd take a leaf out of Silvy's book - April 23rd may be one year since he became staff, but it's also one year since I stumbled my way onto UK of Equestria for the very first time.

And by twenty years I actually mean almost a year, and by today I mean on the 23rd.

But yeah I've been a staff member for almost a year now, and a lot has changed in that year. We've gone from under 900 to over 2000 members on the site, we've done massively successful events and somehow been unharmed by several appearances on some more, unruly sites. But I don't want to make this post just me talking, I want to give you guys a chance to ask me anything(somethings I can't talk about unfortunately), so if you've got a question for me, feel free to post it here in this thread or PM it to me if you'd rather ask it a bit more privately.

Also, if you've got no idea who I am, here's a small opening paragraph about me

Or so it would seem, considering our last news post was almost two months ago. But don't fret! We're still working on things, just slowly, quietly, with precision and classification that means I can't talk about them right now D: So here's a quick news flash on a few things that are going on:

• Revitalising old sections of the site ETA: Soontm
• Improving the Meetup system ETA: Soontm
• And Lots more... ETA: Soontm

So yeah, we're definitely not sleeping on the job.
Oh! We're also reviewing a lot of the suggestions that have been made in the last few months, so keep your eyes open for any of those that may turn up! Or y'know, suggest your own, that's an option as well.

Firstly, sorry for the delay in actually getting this out to you all, so most of you have probably already seen what's been going on.

Now, as many of you may have seen several members of staff have stepped down from their roles in the previous few weeks, but most recently was the departure of Absentia, our resident jakey of the forums. He's decided to step down from the role due to time constraints as he tries to relocate himself to a more suitable place. We wish him the best of luck and if he decides he's in a more optimal role would love to have him back on the team
