Suggestion After Con Breakfast

Ok so after the London MCM in May me and my friends had to wait around in London doing bugger all.
HOWEVER! instead of wondering around Regent Street like Zombies (because come on, we're all pretty much dead after a full weekend of Con-Going!) we went to the nearest Wetherspoons we could find, banged on the Windows until they opened up at around 8am and demanded they cook us an epic hangover curing English Breakfast!

It was amazing.



^^^ Just look at that. We're talking BACON.. SAUSAGES.. EGGS... HASH BROWNS BEANS TOAST DFNDSKGNSDKG.

Anyway... it was fab and was a perfect end to the MCM, it gave us all our energy back as well! Also only cost about £4 so can't go wrong there.

I'm suggesting on the Monday morning after BUCK for anypony still in Manchester that we go and eat one of these amazing beasts at the Wetherspoons over at Picadilly Gardens.

Anypony up for it? OF COURSE YOU ARE! YEAH!

I would totally do that... I could totally do that... but I'm staying at a B&B for the three nights anyway, so it would be silly to pay for one elsewhere when I get a hearty breakfast with my bed. x)

I actually ate one of those after the first night of my now-Brother-in-Law's stag do. I wasn't too impressed, myself; yes, it was large, and getting any food down me was a good start, but I vastly preferred what I got the next morning before I left Newcastle. I can't remember the name, but it was in Wetherspoons again and it was essentially a sausage, egg, bacon and onion ring bap with chips and a drink (you could have a beer, but after two nights of heavy drinking, I opted for a coke).

Now that, my friends, is what I call amazing.

(Also, I had black pudding for the first time; I likey very much.)

How can it be cheap yet expensive?

I have no idea what time people are heading home on the monday but the hotel I'm in do breakfasts so that's what I'm opting for.

From the context, it makes sense. Cheap was meant as the cost of ingredients used, implying poor quality, and expensive is used to denote the extortionate prices on transport.

But all grammar misunderstandings aside, if I've got a spare £5 left on Monday, I shall be breakfasting with you guys (and if it's the same Friendolino that's going through Marecoltsfield, I will probably join some of you on that too - Edit: just checked, it is )

I've been advised not to head off too early so as to avoid Monday morning traffic, so will likely tag along with the herd in the morning.
