Another Drawing

Well, here you go then.

Hmm, I can see good elements, like the small shadow and the receding fence. I really like the sky! It's roughness just seems to fit really well, I like the clouds that the style creates. What part of the background don't you like? I personally cannot find anything wrong with it, it is just in need of a bit of refinement. For example, removing a hill of two and broadening the others, as at the moment it seems busy and draws the eye away from Applejack. A background should be drawn well, but draw the focus to the character.

Personally, the sky is what i didn't like. It just seems rushed to me, and a real mess. It's good to know that I did something right at least though.

Each to our own I suppose. I liked it because it WAS a mess. I can see the style going well with Discord actually. That's another challenge of a background, choosing the right style to that it fits the characters you've drawn.

I think I'll have another attempt but instead of trying to do coloured landscape, I'll just do some kind of arty thing (if that's makes sense) like coloured shapes or some such.
For now, I'm working on another piece, should be up tomorrow hopefully.

He's a Cranky Doodle Donkey!

Soory about the late reply. Cranky Doodle Donkey is your best drawing to date I'd say. His head is very impressive. A few things could do with a small look (nothing major though), Pinkie's nose is a bit flat and her foreleg is a bit uneven. Similarly, Cranky's forleg is a bit thin. This are minor points though, the pictureis still very good! Rage Twilight is a fun drawing to just look at! I can only imagine how fun it was to draw. The flames lick wonderfully and her expression is top notch. Great work as usual!

'Nother update! Staying at my aunt's for a week, so I don't know if I'll be able to draw much, or upload what I draw.

Fair enough dude. I'll be away for a week as well.

These all look great! I love the Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. I'd say they are my favourites out of all of your drawings!

New challenge piece!

Looks like a great challenge piece. The magic stars are nice, maybe try to make them more "regular". Twilight is awesome. The pose and body are brilliant, but the head needs a small bit of work. It looks a bit compressed. Overall, nice work!!!

Yeah, I kinda suck a regular geometric shapes, i'm happy with it overall, and I'm glad you like it!
