Bronies @ The O2 Summer Special

    Sup my ponies!
    So, it's been suggested to me that we hold an extra O2 film meet, since its the summer and we can. :D
    The film we'd be seeing, you ask?
    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

    So - it's up to you guys, to be honest! If you think you'd like to come along, give me a shout.

    There are already two film meets planned for the summer hols, so we'd have to arrange a date that fits around those extisting events.
    Spiderpony on July 14th
    and
    Bronieman: The Dark Horse Rises on August 4th.

    Since this is a 'summer holiday' event, it won't neccisarily be held on a Saturday!! Given that, I don't mind organising this for a smaller group than usual.

    So, holla at me, darlings - what do you think?

    When you say "arrange a date that fits around", do you mean between the two other meets or after the latter? Or is it not decided yet?

    Also, 'twould probably be an idea to schedule it on a non-Saturday. If there are people who are busy every Saturday with work or a club or something, this would give them a chance to go to a film meet.

    Totally undecied as yet, although you make a good point - would be nice to have this during the week at some point, in case some folks can't make the normal Saturday meets.

    It will probably be between the two arranged trips, or before Spiderman even - after that, and we're getting close to BUCK, when everyone will be low on money.

    Between Spiderpony and Bronieman is deffinately is possibility. :D Like I say, we could go earlier, but 7th July = LFCC and 30th June = PitP, which only leaves next weekend.

    If it is on a weekday, you probably shouldn't do it before Spiderman, seeing as part of the point is that it's in the summer hols. Granted, most bronies are of an age where they probably can do earlier what with time off after exams for those in school, or the earlier end of the uni academic year, but it seems a shame to exclude the little ones just because they're fortunate enough not to be in the midst of GCSEs or A-levels.

    Of course, if you do do it next weekend the above is entirely irrelevant and can be disregarded :)

    I'm pretty much in the same boat as bobby.p on this one. Won't be able to make Bronieman due to being on holiday so would be nice to get another meet in before I go. :D

    No, I'm liking the idea of doing it during the week, give it a real 'BUCK-school-it's-the-summer' vibe.

    So, it looks like a WEEKDAY between 16th July - 3rd August.

    Also, depending on numbers, we might do something a bit more 'summer special' for the after film meal. I'd say everypony back to mine for a BBQ, or something similar, but yeah - open to ideas, folks.
