Somepony posted about the Raffle Winners. Mine were as follows (Blue Tickets):

    1st Place (Ticket 457) - Sebastian - SDCC Derpy
2nd Place (Ticket 12) - Teresa - Box of wave 5 blind bags
3rd Place (Ticket 269) - Sam - Box of wave 4 blind bags

    As a vendor I sadly missed the entire con (I'm a Brony first, merchant second) but I still had a great time thanks to all who attended. All of the staff were able to help me with anything I needed assistance with and the gophers were also amazing. When you guys all applauded the question of whether I'll be back next year I had to fight back all the feels I had ;w;

As a solo vendor running 2 tables I was gutted that the floor didn't close for the lunch hour so I could rest and go enjoy some parts of the con. I managed to sneak away for 30 mins on Sunday to get in a game of DDR (and catch up with Alan and Liam, the two awesome guys who were running it) so I did manage to do at least 1 thing. Next year I will be bringing additional staff as I'll need more tables so this won't be an issue for me, but it can be for other vendors.

Thanks for doing that, means a lot to me. My company was never about making money anyway (I do it for the community) so I'm glad that a good cause benefited from my bid.

Thanks for everything, roll on BUCK 2013! <3

It was brilliant. Probably one of the best weekends I've had. All of the events were lots of fun and I met some awesome people. It was great to see some familiar faces again as well. <3
Can't wait for next year. :D

If there was ever a meet-up or con that could beat BUCK weekend... Then I really cannot imagine it at all.

Wow, what a weekend. I didn't get to leave my table, but I still had an absolute blast!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table, double thanks for those who bought stuff ;) . But it was great just to see everyone!

Not being able to get away for lunch has been mentioned, though adrenaline kept me going that I didn't notice (and I wasn't the one who needed to slip out for cig breaks), but I have to say Sunday was better with con crew to watch the the tables which allowed my sister and I to get a bite to eat. Apart from that I didn't have any problems.

Atmosphere was amazing, and it was great to be able to hear all the music from the table. You were all great, but got to give special mention to the ocarina, complete with Ocarina of Time flashbacks! Having the auction happen within earshot was cringing for me, but at least my stuff earned some cash for charity. Though my print was supposed to go along with the original sketch, as I was practically giving those away up stairs and it wasn't even signed! If whoever bought it would get in contact with me, I can send you a personalized one to thank you for being generous. Rarity would be proud of you!

In case you can't tell, I had an absolute ball, and am definitely planning to vendor again next year. Roll on 2013!

BUCK last weekend had been such a blast, and of course, it was my first ever fandom convention, and the best convention I've ever been to! I've met so many stars of the whole community in a short space of 2 days, and I've even met Crescendo in person for the first time (having already had a gaming session with her and a few other musicians last weekend). The Pinkie Pie Party and the after-party on Sunday had been so awesome, and never before have I had such a good time in my entire life!

I can't wait for next year, and hopefully, BUCK'll be even bigger than before! :)

RIGHT! Time for a lengthy feedback post that no pony is going to read, it being so insanely long!:p

    Part 1

    The Disaster

I suppose the convention really started for me when, at exactly 20:01 on the Friday I realised with absolute and unabated horror that I had completely and utterly screwed myself over by stupidly getting the time of my coach to London muddled up, thinking it was not leaving Southampton (that I'd needed to get a 10-minute train to anyway) until 22:00 when in fact it was 20:00.

Shouting numerous cruse words that would get me banned from UKoEQ if I posted them here, I now realised I would have to cough up £30.00 to buy a train ticket to London, having missed my cheep pre-paid coach I'd booked weeks ago, money I had in fact set aside for purchasing swag!:( Still, I threw the last of my stuff, including 3-days of tinned food I had brought to save money on food and my unfinished Diamond Tiara costume before heading off. The only real moment of manic on my unexpected journey to London was when I had to change at a station and realised with total shock that I had just 2-minutes to get to another platform, for a few seconds my brain froze telling me it was impossible, I though 'buck it' and just ran my plot off up and down the stairs, leaping into the train as the doors closed behind me!:D

    The Journey Through Hell

Getting on the coach to Manchester from London Victoria presented no problem either...getting off...was something different altogether! The coach left London at 23:55 and was due to arrive in Manchester at 5:00am, meaning I'd have to wait around until 8:00 before I could check into my hostel, shower, have breakfast ect. Now, I naturally planned to sleep on the coach so unpacked my sleeping bag and told the driver I was going to get changed into my Family Guy pyjamas...yes, I actually said they were Family Guy pajamas:rolleyes: in the toilet, in case he was planning to do a head count so he'd not miss me, in any case it only took a minute. Now, here is where it all went wrong, I fell asleep and was woken up when we arrived in Manchester, we were early, 4:47 and after rubbing the sleep from my eyes I told the new driver (we had changed him at a service station a while back) that I would just be a minute to get changed he suddenly grew furiously angry with me and told me, "NO, GET OFF THE COACH RIGHT NOW!!!!" I was shocked, "But, I'm in my pajamas!?" I protested, "I don't care, I want to go home, get off right now or I'll take you with me!" Feeling angry I got off at the station in my pajamas, the driver seemed to have a slight wavering and his tone softening said, "I'm sure you can find some toilets to change" I gave him an icy state, knowing full well that they would all be locked, in any case, it was hardly the end of the world, I just put my cloths on top of them, but it was really the principle of the thing, the lack of decent customer service shown, especially since we were 13-minutes early anyway, if we had been running late o even on time I might of been more understanding.

After hanging out at the bus station for a few hours I made my way to the Hatters Hostel, brohoof'd a brony coming down the stairs saying out load, "My first BUCK brohoof" and then tried to check in...once again...things did not go according to plan...

Being 28 years old and fairly tall at 6-foot 11.6, I'm not used to carrying ID on me as I simply don't need it...it turned out I needed some proper ID to book in to the hostel, heck, while I've stayed in hostel's before, it had been part of a group booking so I'd not needed ID then either, this was my first solo booking and so I'd not idea this would happen. Frantically searching my wallet for ANYTHING that would satisfy them, I even offered them my Socialist Party membership card,:p but to no avail, finally I found my Boots employee discount card with name and personalised staff number on, this was enough to satisfy them, however it turned out I had accidentally booked into the wrong Hatters anyway and had to walk down the road to it.

    The Line

The line was fairly uneventful, I met a few cool bronies, although ones that, for no particular reason I didn't end up hanging out with. This was a major difference from BronyCon in the US and reflected both the fact that there were a small layer of bronies there I knew from UKofEQ and would be meeting, but also the smaller more intmate nature of the event made me feel much more comfortable and able to approach people than than BronyCon, hence, where's with bronyCon I latched on to the first group of bronies I met and stuck to them like glue through most of the convention, with BUCK, I kind of frittered from one brony or group to another making lots of new brony friends, although I expect only a few will lead to anything more than a 'see you next year' kinda thing.

Another interesting difference between BUCK and BronyCon from comparing the lines was the much more reserved British bronies in regards to singing, a brony I spoke to told me of their numerous attempts to start a line singing of any MLP or brony song without success, after asking to borrow a plastic stick toy thing from another brony he added, "With one exception, let me just carry out an experiment to prove it" he then starts marching down the side of the line, using the stick like he was in a marching band at the front chanting, "CRUSH, KILL, DESTROY, SWAG!" Suffice to say EVERYPONY seemed to join in and that was the main chat of BUCK throughout the whole weekend, oh that and bronies going...

I had a slight delay with my bag of food for the day, 2-tins of tomato soup, 2-tins of pasta, a jar of peanut butter, jar a of jam and a loaf of bread since you were not allowed to carry around food like that with a knife and tin opener ect so it was left with the information both and I was able to go back to it for food, doing the same on the following day.

One thing that had been on my mind was that I was unable to print off a copy of the schedule, my printer not working and the local libry blocking the file for some reason (the government must hate bronies;)) however the guy doing the bag checks went and enquired for me, finding out that I would indeed get a schedule in the conbook.

Final thing that happened during the line of any real significance was that one of the bronies near me was told they could not bring their party poppers into the convention...as they were a health a safety hazard...apparently. So, after setting a few off, I suggested we walk down the line, the others saving our space, to go find some some Pinkie Pie cosplayers and give them party poppers to set off as party cannons.

Before moving on, my first complaint, as others made at the time and after was the handling of the queue, while bag checks needed to be done, it was not even started until I remember, around 15 minutes before it was due to start and a massive line stretching into the distance and maybe for that or other reasons, bronies did not start coming in until way after the due time. I was near the front of the line but I did not even get building and registered until nearly 11:00 when the brony documentary Q&A would be starting.

Well, I was going to post about the morning of the first day, but I wasted all my time just talking about the journey and the line, lol, oh well, I'll edit the top now to 'Part 1' and continue with 'Part 2' tomorrow. Where I'll actually, you know, get into the convention this time!
