Hi Bronies! New to the forums. I was thinking of going to some conventions and thought I'd start getting involved with the community a bit. I live in York so if there's any bronies around give me a shout!

They are bound to be bronies up there you can check em on on the member map (linked below)

• Meet ups - One of the main reasons for this site is to encourage meet ups to be done with your local bronies. Hence keep a good eye on the upcoming meet details and discussions along with the proposed events and requests to find meets near you.
• Chat - We have a channel on the canternet IRC chat server you can check the details if you have your own IRC client or just join now using the one on the site, the chat is one of the best ways to get to know the members quickly.
• Team Speak - If you have a good microphone or plan to play on the minecraft server you should definitively consider getting team speak and joining our server there, It's like your own mini meet, except without the train fares!
• Unread notification app (Chrome/Opera) - Find it hard to keep up with sites? This little custom made app should help there, it will alert you to new posts, alerts and messages. Don't fancy watching all of the forums? Disable the unread threads and let it deliver your alerts and messages only which will include all your watched threads.
• Minecraft server - Yep we have one, you should consider checking it out if you enjoy building rainbow's house by day and slaying creepers by Night!
• Member map - Mark yourself so nearby members can find you and plan meets!
• Wurm Online - We are building a village! check it out
• Weekly Podcast - Denegoth and Bobby.p rattle on about things happening with the site and general stuff. We like stuff.
• OC Pictures - Pictures of OC, unless you know hate OCs for whatever reason
• And dont forget any particular forums that cater to your interests, such as Blind bags!, Art, Music or just anything really

Finally a few helpful pointers:

• Don't double post, it just looks messy use the edit button to append changes if needed.
• You can quote multiple posts by pressing reply on each.

Hey there and welcome to UK of Equestria, ah York such a fantastic city to go to, went there a couple of years ago when it was snowing and it was like really amazing I really want to go there again sometime soon, plus the pubs and bars are frickin amazing as well I never thought that there were cocktail bars inside the Liquor Stores just....so....AWESOME!!!!

ooo yes we have tons of pubs and cocktail bars! Evil Eye is by far one of the best. York is so pretty in the snow, but annoying when I can't ride my bike on to York University Campus! I've been saying hi to a few people and everyone seems really nice
