    In honour of her birthday i have just included a mention of her in my current fic. Unfortunately she was killed by discord but she died saving hundred of innocent ponies. I also resolved an issue thats been bugging me ever since i saw episode 1 by having Celestia and Luna retire the title of queen in respect to their fallen mother.
