London MCM May

    Okay so next meetup that is SET IN STONE is at MCM May. It runs from the 25th to 27th of May and is AMAZING. I know there was one at MCM October but I missed it and thus LASER was born. This does not mean there aren't going to be meets between now and this date, but this one is defiantly gonna happen.

    Obviously, a meetup can't really span 3 consecutive days - it would have to be on a specific day.

    I'd also wonder if it's the best place in the world to do a meet-up. From the MCM forums, some of the Naruto and Anime fans look to be quite hostile.

    I don't think we should change our plans because of fear that'll people will try anything.
    Honestly I'd like to see them try; the sheer number of us would deter anyone. Unless we have a 50 vs. 50 Brony, Narutofan showdown?

    It's basically Englands version of Comic-con? At least that's how I describe it, just a lot smaller. If you like anime, manga, video games, television shows etc. This is the place to go!

    It'll be humanised Discord unfortunately, so don't expect a full-on Draconequus costume or anything, though I hope to still have wings and a tail!

    Yeah. London Comic Con is what a lot of people refer to it as, so this is definitely the best comparison to draw.

    Even though everyone there is harmless, that would be a hell of a sight to behold.

    Dozens of jumpsuit wearing 'Ninjas' (Ninjas DON'T wear orange!) and people with outfits and hair styles that don't seem physically possible, squaring up against a horde of people dressed as multicoloured ponies.

    I'd pay to watch it.

    I agree with Skittys. I've been going to the London MCM Expo for five years now, and every time I go something new and awesome keeps me coming back. Last October it was the Sunday Brony meetup (my first Brony meetup), and this time it will be this meetup! Looking forward to it!

    One question though. WHERE in the Expo is the meetup going to take place? In October we held it at the East Entrance (not the main one), and it was a good idea because we were away from the other people while we had an indoor picnic, sang songs from the show, and of course the photoshoot! I'd suggest there again.
