    You can create Skype conversation things so whenever people come online they could post what they want, go offline, come back later and see new responses, etc.

    If you create one group conversation for RP and one group conversation for regular chat, then it would work exactly the same as the forum, really. Just as long as they add the group conversation to their contact list then everything will be fine.

    As for the age group thing, I don't really mind. Though something like CMC-style adventuring does sound pretty fun. :D

    I would say that this arrangement makes the most sense, as it allows any additional conversation to be completely seperate from the roleplaying but it is easy to switch between the two.

    You know there can be more than one game/group at a time, right? I suggested one at the time because we didn't have as many people interested. If someone's interested in doing something then just use the thread to recruit I suppose.

    Could you not use a mixture of Skype and the forums, with the forums just being suggested ideas/tactic/whatever then on the skype have those decisions made, that way if you fall behind slightly no major decisions will have been made and would mean the skype would flow much quicker reducing the need to connect for long periods of time.

    Alternatively, for longer absences (holidays etc), we could message the person with the major decisions as they are made. That way, when they return they can wuickly be up to date.

    I might be interested.
    Yesterday a friend started me and 2 others with a new rpg he got, and it was a pain deciding what to go with. Just had a quick flick through the se1 rules and it doesnt look as irratating as deciding what your gonna do, or use ect in the other rpg I might be doing XD

    its a pain with all the options you can go with for weapons, licences, ect.. theres so much to choose from for everything I still have no idea what i've picked and what it does XD all i know is I'm an animal trainer and have use of cybernetic animals (like cyberwolves XD)

    was kinda my response aswell XD... one mate (who is the boss for our organisation) chose some stuff so he's a ninja, tank driver with stealth, businessman, something, something, with a pistol that fires rockets XD

    I got wierd looks from all 3 of my friends when I chose animal trainer, and cybernetic animal licence... + im a ninja who can use powered melee weapons (like ion katanas and chainsaws)

    the game has potential to be insane by the sounds of it.. but I have no idea whats going off or anything (havet played any table top RPG's ever so this will be something completely new and ill probably fail at it XD)

    I just read through the whole S2E book while waiting around. It's not a difficult read at all and most is just describing technicality. "Rules light, concept heavy." It's definitely something that given interest (and the kind of understanding we all have on this forum anyway) anyone's pretty safe to jump in at the deep end and be told what they need to know in a few minutes.
    If anyone has doubts you should check it out and try when/if things take off.
