THIS IS NOW BACK AT THE HORSE, BUT THE EVENT IS NOW FROM 11am to 5.30pm, with a separate after-party for 18+

About
The pub party is intended to be a general meet - for people to chat freely amongst themselves. We do have a few things planned, though...
- A live streaming of the season premiere.
- THE EPISODE AIRS AT 3PM UK TIME- Party atmosphere! Bring swag, silliness and if you wish cold food (but no drinks!)
- A pub quiz (subject to someone stepping forward to organise.)
In addition, we will have music playing throughout the day, and there will be opportunities for people to show-off their custom ponies. Cosplay welcome, but only if you are happy with scaring bartenders!

We have the whole ground floor of the venue booked, which is vastly bigger than we need. Facilities include a PA system and “Big Screen” TV of the type used for airing live sports. There is a separate event taking place upstairs in the evening. The windows will be screened off with blinds so the outside world will not be able to see in.

When?
Arrive at venue from 11AM onwards. Fun starts at 11.30AM. (Optional) Meet at London Waterloo station at the information point between platforms 11 and 12, we will walk to the venue as a group at 11AM.

Special rules for under 18’s.
It is recommended for your safety that under 16’s are accompanied DURING THE EVENT by a parent or guardian. ***Note that these rules have been relaxed due to the new timings and earlier finish of the event***.

Please do not attempt to abuse these rules as they are there are there for your own safety. If we want future meets to go ahead this can only happen if we are thorough. I know some may be disappointed by this but this really is important. This event will be very crowded and (obviously) in a London pub, so all sorts of risks are present both in the venue and streets outside.

Schedule
up to 11am - premeet at Waterloo station, Info point between PF11 and 12 (under the timetables)
10.30am - organisers/helpers to the Horse to set up
11am - walk from Waterloo to the Horse
11.30pm - welcome, introduction
12pm - Pub quiz
3pm - EPISODE
After episode (4pm?) - Singing/Kareoke
5.30pm - Finish. All tech and kit off site by 6.00pm
6pm until late - 18+ after party at THE WALRUS SOCIAL (30 secs from The Horse, Contact Bobby.P for the convo)

Help wanted! We have several hours to fill with stuff! Do we want another pub quiz? Any tech guys able to help?

Off premises by 7pm if under 18, if after 6pm parent or guardian must collect you. Nothing planned after then anyway so you won't miss much. Judging by the last one lots of folks will be heading off for trains then anyway!

The Landaners will stay for a pint or 6 of course...

I think another pub quiz is most certainly in order. Maybe we can have a super hard bonus G1-3 round to separate the Fillies/Colts from the Mares/Stallions.

Aye. Perhaps we could host alternate rounds to give your voice a break this time.
I got Keynote so it should be able to handle video clips too.
Obviously Alteran can dummy run it on his machine too so we can iron out any tech issues.

I have a quiz in the works but if you guys wanna come up with some G1-3.5 questions then by all means go for it. I'll also add you to the dropbox folder. Fire a PM my way.
