Things you look for in a relationship

Are you a hopeless romantic or a hopeless romantic? Personally I'm the former. Or is it the latter? I'm confused. Hopelessly so.

I am also confused, but I'd like to be the former.. I think? XD

With Dio he didn't have a choice. I just didn't let him leave haha, and I even made him give me his name so I could add him on facebook. He probably thought I was just weird.

I think girls can get away with that approach more reliably! I have a mental image of me getting pepper sprayed.

I've never been in a relationship, which i suppose is a bit unusual for someone my age, but until fairly recently i'd never felt any particular draw to being in one. What ponies'll do to some people, eh?

Right now i don't really know what i'm looking for, but i have a few ideas.
Someone cheerful and playful, someone i can take care of, someone who wants my affection, someone who will make me feel wanted/needed.

You know I don't know what the trigger was exactly but this thread inspired me to sign up on that eharmony website. That's something I never thought I'd do, but here we are. I am currently chatting to two nice lady people.

I've had two, but out of the relationships I've had, only one has lasted long enough to be successful (3 years), whilst the other has been on-off for a few months until she came out lesbian. I've struggled to find a replacement since, but I have a feeling that something is on the horizon for me

I will just have to learn that patience is a virtue, and enjoy life as best i can until somepony special comes along

But friendship is hugely important too, i just didn't realise how much until i started my gap year and suddenly none of my friends were around.
But with friends it's not generally acceptable to have the levels of emotional/physical intimacy as i imagine is a large part of most relationships, and that's really something i'm looking for (to bring the thread back to the topic )
