Will probably buy a ticket - is there any idea about when accommodation rates will be available? It'd be nice to see how much it'll cost overall before I commit to anything.

Accommodation rates are complicated and under negotiation just now, from our official accommodation supplier. The cheapest option would probably be Premiere Inn or a hostel at the moment (both in the region of £30/night), but our accommodation may beat that when it's announced. Then again, it might not, but will be nicer. I'll actually be posting up some of my frugal hippie money-saving tips for accommodation and travel in a few days, so keep those blinkers peeled for it.

    I Got my ticket Yesssss.
I'm gonna be sorting out a room in a hostel that will accommodate 10 ponies. Should be £23 each. It is at the Hatters on Newton St 3/4 of a mile away from the action.
    Here be a map.

Yay tickets are up! I'm so excited, and really pleased that considering the HUGE venue we've got for 2 days, that we've managed to keep the prices reasonable and on a par with Galacon. PLUS you get to come to the MASSIVE party on Saturday night included in the price! Woohoo!

If you're looking for cheap accommodation I suggest doing a search on LateRooms.com. You can get some really cheap options within half a mile walk of the venue. For example - the Weston Hall does a basic single room for just £29 a night ( http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-reservations/179184_weston-hall-manchester.aspx ) and is only half a mile.

There is no such thing as "cannot".

I get hardly any spare cash at the end of a month, yet I'm still trying, don't be defeatist!
