so in the wake of E3 we want to know
What company would you want to Develop A My little Pony Friendship Is magic Video game
also what genre would it be, and what system would you want it on. maybe name some of their past titles to compare it to

Well for a MLP FIM game I would want it to be an open world game with a multichoice storyline for xbox so you could explore equestria, and also have a pony customisation as well of course. To develop it I would pick either rockstar or berthseda as they have experience in free roam games with the epic GTA, and the epic elder scrolls: skyrim, and fallout.

I assume saying i wouldn't want a MLP:FiM game, at least from big compliances, is blasphemy? I wouldn't trust any of them to do it right.

As long as it has Tim Schafer on the team it would be epic. Considering the worlds his games are in are already pretty wacky, if he recreated Equestria it would be crazy.

I'd like a crazy platformer. Preferably developed by Rare-ity.

As for the system. Port to all the systems! After all people should be able to play it.

You got it right there. Double Fine, or just Tim Schafer would be brilliant. I mean, look at Psychonauts and Grim Fandango! Everything's game. I mean, he'd probably put in Pinkie's little emergency party caches eerywhere.

Valve.
I mean, it'd come out about 10 years after the show has ended, but it would unquestionably be the best goddamn game ever made.

i think that ubisoft would be good. maybe it could be another assassins creed game. oh I know! Derpy's Creed: Sisterhood! or maybe havok, i mean, a ponified Crackdown game would be a dream come true for me!

for a MLP FIM game it would be awesome for it to be an Adventure RPG and made by berthseda as they are good at that type of games. as far as the system i would like it to be either for the PC or the Xbox

Developer: Valve or Bioware.
Genre: Open-world.
System: I don't like consoles too much so I would say Windows.

Definitely an Indie developer because they're less motivated by money than other, more established companies. The company would also have to have the interests of the Bronies close at heart. Perhaps Mojang? We know Notch is a Brony, and now he's filthy rich he probably has the spare cash to throw at this kind of thing. Although to be honest I don't think I could trust even him to provide the perfect Brony game.

Genre? I have no idea! I really only play Sandbox games and the occasional Puzzler, so I really have no experience with a wide range of Genres. I'd love to see an MLP:FiM FPS done well, but it's unlikely to happen.

I'd say it should be made for PC. Mainly because the vast majority of the fandom got to MLP through the internet, and the chances are if you have the internet then you have a PC. There's nothing stopping it being ported over to other consoles, it would just make more sense to optimise it for PC.

I think the official stance is that he likes the show, but not enough to consider himself part of the fandom.

Oops, my bad. He still has an understanding of the fandom beyond most developers, so would make at least a decent choice.

Had my hater brother locked in my room until my name was said and he could repeat it back to me. Sadly this was not the case and If this is not said i swear if I ever see you at a meet you will get enough apple pies in your face to start a mini orchard where your beard used to be.

The orignal rare studios (before it went bad) because there games were good and often ammusing as well
open platformer (donkey kong 64 style or banjo kazooie) because i think the open world hub with an intresting level designs would be a cool combo
Wii U or 3ds because they can still get away with cartoony grathics (and on a side not can you see RD being involed in the next smash brothers if on nintendo)

Hmmm, it depends on which developer has had experience with Hasbro, but since they're starting to up their game, I reckon Valve should develop an MLP:FIM game, not just because GabeN is a brony, but because of their excellent track record, which began with Half-Life. As for genre, I would like the game to be a free roamer, à la GTA, and with full customisation of character, so then I can create Aurum Noble in all his glory. In terms of platform, it would have to be universal, so then it can play on all platforms, ranging from Mac & Windows to consoles and even mobile devices.

I'd love one of:
A LucasArts Point N Click a la Monkey Island or am N Max Hit The Road.
UbiSoft MMORPG, kinda like Elder Scrolls but more in line with the show...so I guess in some way more like 'The World' in the' dot Hack' franchise.
Some sort of virtual pet. Dunno who'd i'd get to make it. Preferably a company that makes games. Maybe even of that ilk.

Give me an Epic games helmed third person shooter where you control pinkie pie wielding a twilight sparkle gatling gun, using her to blast griffons, changelings and demons from tartarus, where if you down an enemy (by shooting wings off or hitting their legs enough) you smash their face in with twilights horn.

Alternatively, since bungie are no longer making halo (halo 4 looks amazing by the way) maybe they should get to work on it, make it a first person ponysim
