Must be some fans out there. So, favourite songs/Vocaloids/anything else?
I'm personally a huge fan of Kagamine Rin

There were talks of a fan concert in Scotland with a "hologram" style setup and everything in the works, haven't heard much on that since the beginning of the year though.

I've looked into it a bit and do enjoy some of the stuff out there (but apart from a Levan Polka cover I can't think of any track names now). The hologram live shows look awesome.

I like a few Vocaloid songs, but I'm not a fan of it specifically, or anything. Meltdown and Matryoshka spring to mind.

I've always liked the design of the Vocaloids.. Have to listen to some of the music at some point, and this thread's as good a place as any to start.

If ya want some of the best songs, for Rin see above and for Miku see these:

In fact for Miku, may as well listen to the entire Supercell album.

Cheers, although now I see those vids I realise I've actually listened to them both before due to friends. Will refresh my memory.

Been listening to a bit by Megurine Luka as well and it's pretty awesome. I've always had a soft spot for relatively heavy music and a light/soft singer.

Massive bump because I <3 Vocaloid.

I've been looking into Vocaloid concerts here on or around our fair isle and I figure some of you guys may be interested (because I really wanna go to one so I assume everyone else does too).
    • Miku UK is a fan-run event taking place at a TBC location on a TBC date in Scotland this year. It's really hard to find out much info on it, but it looks like it's gonna be good.
    • There's a Miku UK preview event in Newcastle on August 31st. It's a smaller deal, but they'll have the hologram, Miku, Rin, Len and Luka.
    • There may be more Miku UK preview events in the future, including one in the south.
    • THE END is a Vocaloid opera starring Miku, with not a single human on stage. It's coming to Paris in November. Tickets aren't available yet, but when they are they'll be on the venue's site.
I'm totally up for some of these. :D

Well, my favourite is GUMI. A lot of Vocaloid songs have re-dubs with the other characters so I can opt when possible for her. I guess Hatsune Miku is cute and all though... ^w^

Luka is hands down the best. She's just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing

She's got amazing songs by AVTechNO! and Yuyoyuppe who are both my favourite Vocaloid artists, and the way they can use her voice is dreamy.

Miki is definitely the most awesome of all Vocaloids, love her smooth sounding voice in comparison to the others. If only she was in the Project Diva games :(

As cute as she is, the main reason she's not in the games is because she isn't with Crypton Future Media, and they're the company who work with Sega to make the games. That's why Teto, Haku and Neru are allowed to be in the game - they're fan made and not really owned by any companies. If Miki were in any of the games, Crypton would have to pay AH-Software to put her in there. That's why Gumi has her own game on the PSP.
