Warrington Brony Meetup 2013 (13th of January 2013 )

sadly the meet has to be canceled until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances and a non definative turnout :'(

..BUT.... the meet will be re-planed and rescheduled and i personally guarantee it will be bigger and better than was planed for the up and no longer coming meet

i am truly sorry for the unforeseen cancellation of the event and hope you will be attending the future meet ... so please keep checking the forum .. because we'll be coming back soon ^^

I live a little way out, in Runcorn, but there's a bus to Warrington from here.
If I'm working in the area come January I'll come.

I live in Runcorn so will be able to get to Warrington pretty easily (I have to go there every day for college anyway) and would definitely be interested in coming!

EDIT: Although it would be better if the location was near Golden Square or Priestley as if i can walk from anywhere the 62 stops at i wont have to deal with Network Warrington buses

Sounds like quite a caper. I'll see if I can come to this one closer to the time.

I don't live far from Warrington, though my only option for getting there would be driving. I'll definitely try to come along.

it will probably end up being close to priestley collage as i attend there so its easier for me to set up pre-event

Public transport is a bit rubbish from where I live, especially on Sundays!

the date may change slightly by moving to the saturday as one of the chosen venues is not available on Sundays ... but it has yet to be chosen as the definite destination so we'll see closer to the date

saturday would probably be more convenient for me aswell as Ive just realised Halton Transport doesnt operate on sundays...wont make a major difference as Ill just get an Arriva if it is on sunday

Is there an arriva bus that goes to Warrington? Would be useful for me to know, I have to get the 7:35 62c every day for work and its always over-crowded like mad. Although I get off around sandymore anyway.

the X30 and 110 go to Warrington, also I am a fellow 62C user and I share your pain, particularly when there are idiot students who refuse to move further down and let more people on (my mate lives in Sandymoor and sometimes he cant get on and is late for college), unfortunately it is the cheapest option for buses to college

I live just up the road in Cadishead and i would be glad to go to this i will just get the hundred up to warrington, so it is easy for me to get too.

Well, it's certainly possible for me to get there... just a case of IF I can get there. With my sense of direction I'd probably get lost.
