News Welcome to the Brony UK Convention forum!

My fellow bronies, I come to you today bearing great news! It is my pleasure to announce an official partnering between BUCK and UK of Equestria, in the form of our own forum on the site. All the latest news updates will be here, as well as on our brand spanking new site, which is due to launch in a few days. You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook!

This forum also provides an area for you to discuss with us: things you would like to see at the con, gripes or complaints about anything we have planned, or anything else you would like to say to us! Furthermore, this new forum is the perfect place to arrange rideshares, find accommodation, and talk to each other about con-related stuff.

Many thanks to the UKoE staff for letting us have this forum! We look forward to seeing its active use!

Firstly, good idea getting a seperate forum. It should help everyone be clear as to what is going o and reduce confusion. When will a list of events be posted? I understand that there is a lot to organise, so it could be posted a while from now, but even a short list of confirmed/considered events would be fantastic.

We'll be posting a list of proposed and confirmed events soon! We will also be posting details about guests of honour, venue and accommodation details, and pricing in the not too distant future, so stay tuned! Our canonical source of info will by our new website, but we will also post here and on Twitter when we post to the site.

Okay; I must have been in the dark for god knows how long, because this is the first time I have heard anything about all the stuff you mentioned in the first post.
But it all leads back to one question; what is BUCK? (I'm sorry for being so incompetent.)

Essentially a UK brony convention!!!! With various events over two days (I think).

Is there any information up at all about venue? Because that will really affect attendability.

Good question, I would also like a answer, that is, If a venue has even been planned yet?

We are currently negotiating with the venue, and while I can't confirm anything yet, it looks like we will be able to make an announcement by the end of the working week.

This will include detail about the venue, and the dates. Maybe even another guest of honour confirmation, if we're lucky.

Actually, we were thinking of posting some fake guests of honour for April Fool's Day. An example was:
"Andrew Bell, known online by his ponysona Scottish Molestia, is the renowned author of such semenal classics as 'We Couldn't Fit it All In', 'Madame Le Flour Shows Some Restraints', and 'Tom: Rock Bottom'"

I know, I'm a terrible person and I'm going to hell...

Oh my, August is a bit soon ;; Looks like I won't be attending- I have a convention on the first weekend of the month, and possibly another thing the weekend after.
