Name: Spruce Evergreen Race: Earth Pony Gender: male Age: 35 Special talent/Occupation: Spruce has an unusual affinity with wild animals of the woods and grasslands, where they seem less wild and hostile or fearful than with other individuals, and are more easily "trained" as much as a still wild animal can be trained without becoming domestic. Spruce's line of work runs parallel with this talent as he works as a wildlife ranger of sorts for the evergreen forest and other wooded areas around Ponyville, both keeping ponies who are naive or malicious out and the animals safe and contained within their habitats. A guardian if you will. Appearance: Spoiler: Spruce Evergreen Credit - Sharpster25 Residence: Ponyville. Spruce lives by the outskirts of Ponyville in log-cabin not too far from the forests of the local area. Personality: Spruce is very relaxed individual even in the company of strangers, and easy going, but also unknowingly strong and sometimes clumsy. Spruce never gets angry to the extent of being enraged, only annoyed, and never seems to go above that. Spruce is quite reclusive but not for lack of social skills or confidence, more that he just prefers chill environments and the company of animals to other ponies... not that he'd turn down a quiet evening in with his buddies and some apple cider. History: Born and raised in Ponyville, Spruce's parents cared for their foal and lead a happy family life where Spruce quickly took to finding his cutie mark and purpose. Spruce never really had much of an education bar the local Ponyville schoolhouse, after that Spruce never really perused further education, instead setting his sights on nature, animals and how to care and safely interact with them. This lead to him working with vets, farmers and many other animal or nature affiliated job roles to gain the experience and knowledge he wanted. Once he became a young stallion of about 22, Spruce set off with his parent's help to make a log cabin build for him to live in where it remains today, for him to protect and pacify the nature around him, keeping the boundary between civilisation and the wild strong and clear. Since then his parents have retired to their own log cabin up by Neighagra falls where he occasionally visits.
