As you will probably have discovered, there are variations of Mahjong rules popular in different Asian countries, but what we have played is Japanese, or "Riichi" Mahjong.

Some ear defenders. Trying to find a coping method for hypersensitive hearing. Only concern is one review said high-pitched noises got through more easily, and it's mostly those I have the problem with - everything needs to beep at me constantly for some reason - so we'll see how we go.

Felt like treating myself today so bought a Fitbit Alta so I can Fitbit whilst wearing my good watch, the Surge was just not very pretty when out so ill leave that for biking or the gym.
New Brolly as this weekends trip to Munich looks like heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Smaller battery pack so im not as bulky when it comes to emergency charging the phone.

Just got a Daring Do Funko figurine last weekend in York – only my second Funko (the other being DJ-Pon3). Very happy with the quality.

And I'm guessing the machine stole allllllllll your money. That seems to be the usual.

    A DJ shirt ...

In my defence, they are half-price and even given the egregious costs of shipping stuff from Murrica, £14 for a T-shirt ain't too shabby.

    Wub-a-dub-dub!

    Indeed I did.
Thinkgeek do good stuff, but their shipping fees can be utterly outrageous - the shirt is half-price ($9.99) and with shipping it's a smidgeon under $20, which is fine. Should nicely avoid unpleasant customs charges too.

I've also bought more electron-wrangling equipment off the Bay of E.

Liking the Chuwi. Had a few teething troubles but they seem to have ironed out. It plays the MLP Gameloft game more smoothly than my Nexus 6P, so that's a thing...
Windows is pretty crummy on tablets isn't it o.o Considering they turned Windows upside down a version ago to accommodate them and alienated desktop users in the process, you'd think they'd have done a better job of it. Think I'll be sticking to Android for the most part, but it's nice being able to boot into it for the odd thing!

It's very Chinese. (Can I say that? :p It's not a racial thing, they don't have all the rules and regs holding them back from making things to dodgy levels of cheapness). Hidden corner cutting (obvious interpolation of some kind on the display), clunky forum with half written instructions and downloads on a free personal Dropbox account that keeps getting closed down. But definitely not bad for 75 sheets.

Went into a W H Smith today for the Marvel Movie Collection magazine. Was loudly reminded by mother that we couldn't carry anything else. "Oh, but I just want to have a look at the books, I'll just browse."

I left the shop with War and Peace, among others.

A Raspberry Pi 3 model b. I'm gonna use it to render a few animations in blender now Raspian supports OpenGL, if you know what that is.
