Just a funny automated call relating to our internet...
The day's going in rightly.
Apparently it said something about us being cut off but it may have been a scam
After doing some googling it seems that it probably is a scam but on the off chance it's not, I may disappear from the face of the earth/forum
Watching Postman Pat in Gaelic, like you do.
TV is good tonight.
Padraig Post, actually.
Completely forgot how bad my laptop was until I used it again today. Did manage to nearly finish my scripts UI though.
Had to talk to an automated voice when I was trying to sort our internet, the voice recognition stuff they use for passwords and security questions still gets me.
Oh, those automated voices are horrible... they don't recognize accents either. Mother had to deal with one while phoning the bank one time, eventually had to mimic its ridiculous RP voice and singsong "pay~ a~ bill~" before it worked.
There's a great comedy sketch about a Scottish guy vs. a voice-operated lift. Can't link, of course, it's incredibly sweary.
Yeah, I've not had too much problem with them but I knew that was an issue with them.
The paying bills thing reminded me of this.
that is exactly it
Some wind here tonight...
Did he have a dubh and bán cat?
Watching the end of The Queen's Green Planet, it's been great.
Not sure, didn't catch the theme tune. The cat meowed in Gaelic too, though.
Oh I meant to record that, I'll have to do catchup
Never noticed how similar Gaelic and garlic are before...
Nintendrew is really clickbaity and stuff but he seems genuine enough, and very nice.
The Dynasty channel is glitching out. HAAAAAAALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH...
It was a nice show all right.
But there's no "W" in gaelic, I'd have thought it would be more like Meómh?
Aye, it was something like that.
Just looked it up on the glorious focloir.ie and apparently it's "míáú" - that's a lot of fadas! :O
Can't find an equivalent in Gaidhlig, sadly.
