Had a couple interviews this past week, the good news is I felt they both went rather well. The bad news is I didn't get the job in either.
I admittedly didn't expect to get one of them so it wasn't a big deal but the other one was to work at the local cinema which to me felt like a job which would fit, I'm passionate about films, I'm pretty good at interacting with customers and so on.
As I already said I felt the interview went rather well, so I was curious after hearing that I didn't quite pass the assessment and wasn't picked for the job what I specifically could have improved upon aka what parts of the test did I not do well in, was there any specific part of the interview I could have worked on, etc.
After trying on a few separate occasions someone finally says they'll send me an email regarding how my interview went:
Gee, how specific...
I swear I used to be able to spell, before beginning this dissertation
Had roast dinner. Dog has fallen into a food coma.
My food for this evening consisted of pasta and scoffing some sweet chilli coated peanuts while watching Spider-verse for the 5th(?) time.
Pretty good evening all things considered.
I've gotta make the most of meat while I'm still at home and it's not out of my budget, haha.
Well that's Game of Thrones S08E01
Epic dragon riding that didn't have poor character green screen! Whooop!
Oh yeah, that reminds me to stay away from Reddit today...
Morning all. Damp start to the day here.
Not sure I'll ever get round to watching that series.
Morning Bun (@: I thought I'd already popped in here
Sent the first draft of my dissertation to my supervisor!
I hope they like it!
Hope it goes well, PDP.
Hopefully that's the end of the rain here today. Also, lunchtime.
It's all windy and ratten out, so of course I dander down to the ice cream shop for a wee coffee and a poke.
Going to risk taking the dog for a walk now while it's (hopefully) still dry.
Awful to hear about Notre Dame catching fire. I really hope they'll be able to find some way to restore it.
It's awful. Missed the opportunity to visit when I was in Paris for my 16th, years ago.
