MLP airing on Tiny Pop soon

I was flicking around on Amazon TV after watching the Grand Tour and noticed that they have Seasons 4-7 available for free. Since I can't get Tiny Pop where I live, I'm really happy to see that I can still rewatch some episodes.

 

One thing I like about TinyPop is they get a lot of the episodes very quickly from their US airdate compared to the US. I don't what it's like for Disney, but Cartoon Network is dreadful for it.

 

Disney isn’t that great. The new duck tales series is taking its time to come over, but in the past Disney has shown episodes in the UK earlier than the US. So I guess it’s mixed

Just read in the new magazine that Season 8 comes to Tiny Pop on Saturday 26th May! It's shown at 8am and 4.30pm.

After looking ahead on Sky, I can confirm that it is indeed starting next Saturday with both parts of School Daze, and they're actually airing it eight times during the day; 8am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm, and of course, each one of those showings airing an hour later on Tiny Pop +1.

 

How does scheduling work for POP? Is it like they show every new episode of Season 8 for 12 weeks before the show goes on its break in the states? I'm just curious to know since the inconsistent airings in the US meant POP aired episodes in the UK before them in the past

 

I think they typically get half a season at a time, or at least that's how it's worked at some point in the past.

Looks like we're once again getting new episodes on a daily basis, which means that we may well be the first to get "The Mean 6" in English (it's already aired in Finland). Discovery Family is set to air it on June 9th, and if my math is correct, it should premiere on Tiny Pop on June 6th, or possibly the 5th as they may not show "The Break Up Break Down". I've spoiler-tagged the possible reason why in case anyone hasn't seen that episode yet.

Although cider is never outright mentioned, there is a scene where Big Mac drinks out of a tankard while in a state of depression, so I wonder if him drowning his sorrows with a possibly alcoholic beverage might result in the channel skipping the episode. That plus a scene afterwards where Spike and Discord take him to a bar to try and cheer him up.

 

They'll be alright showing Break Up Breakdown.

Nope, not yet. Hopefully the next issue of the MLP magazine, coming out this Friday, will tell us.

Sorry for the double post, but there's no mention of new episodes coming to Tiny Pop in the latest issue of the MLP magazine. I guess they might start sometime in September.

 

No exact date mentioned in issue 95 of the magazine, but it does mention brand new episodes coming next month. We might get an exact date in issue 96.

 

Alright, I had a look on my TiVo today, and I'm proud to say that the second half of season 8 will be starting on Tiny Pop on 6th October. It appears they're airing them daily at 4PM.

 

Looks like they are repeating them at 9am on weekdays too.
