Excellent! See you there!
I'd love to go but unfortunately the 4ths my birthday so I'll be visiting my brother in Nottingham
I don't mean to be disrespectful, since I don't intend on attending this meetup, but I thought it'd be best to ask here if anyone knows which local Cinemas (around Leeds) are showing this on the 20th? That's the release afaik but when I check the cinema sites they only mention bookings in Glasgow, London and the like. Hardly ideal!
Thanks and sorry for invading the thread
Don't worry, most cinemas don't list screenings until much closer. Check back Thursday night on their websites and you should be perfectly good!
VUE in the City Centre is probably your best bet, or Cineworld at Xscape.
There's also the big Vue on Kirkstall Road, although that's more of a pain to get to.
Thanks for the responses! I was beginning to really worry it was a limited release and I'd got myself hyped up for nothing! I'll be sure to check back later and hopefully it's on there by then.
Have fun at your meetup and enjoy the movie!
After checking out my schedule it turns out I can attend the meet at Xscape (although I'll have to leave after the film)
I go to Xscape quite a lot so I know the place fairly well
Sadly I got work on that day and driving lesson. Luckily the lessons is in the morning, it's just work that's the problem.
Is there any update on booking tickets?
Yes! They've just been updated right this second.
We will see the 14:30 screening. We will book tickets on the day at the counter.
Just so you know I'm 15. Will that be a problem or can I still come to the meetup?
Should be fine as long as you behave, haha
Okay cool xD.
Ive been leaving it till last minute to see if id be free this weekend and it turns out i can, its a bit of trek but id like to come aswell if thats alright.
Awesome dude . See you there. Where abouts you live
Just over in Manchester
Ah cool dude
I hope no pony minds, but I've made a sneeky booking in our 1430 showing tomorrow , simply because if I go through my works discount site I can save £3.90 off the original ticket price. So, for those who have had a browse at the current seating plan and wonder who the pone is that's occupied L9, thats me . I'm going to take a guess and say that the cinema will not be extremely busy so I reckon it won't matter what our allocated seats are anyway but I'm having my savings where I can get them.
Anyway, just on the other points, I reckon we should dine at somewhere with at least a table we can all sit around and have a mass plushie pyramid (I'll bring Flutters to the proceedings). I'm going to nominate Frankie and Benny's.
Also anypony got ideas for post-film fun? I'd be up for Tenpin if anypony's interested, if we did we should at least name ourselves after show characters, just the idea of having character names on the bowling digital score display would be hilarious and good fun. Anyway there's my suggestion .
The journey south has begun...17 minutes ago! Only 5 hours 37 minutes to go!
Have arrived in Sheffield, ready for tomorrow! Now just about to enjoy fish, chips and a drink!
