    I noticed the latest issue in the shops has a Princess Twilight figure if anyone's interested:

    I saw the new Twilight figure in Sainsburys today.

    Her mane is kinda metallic, but for the most part she’s transparent glittery plastic.

    You could even say she... sparkles.

    She actually looks quite nice, but it is a shame we're getting yet another repeat as far as characters go. This one reminds me of one of the early blind bag waves (I think Wave 4) which had figures in this crystally style, albeit not metallic. It would be nice to see somepony different next time, though. Big Mac in particular is a major omission from the magazine pony ranks. After all these years, he deserves better!

    The newest issue comes with a Rainbow Dash figure, however it looks like the one they released before.

    I wasn’t sure when I saw it in Sainsburys yesterday, by looking at the one I already have from years ago, I think it’s a new better moulding.

    I picked up the new Dash figure today. Here she is on the right with the previous figures:

    I like the new figure’s face :). It also doesn’t suffer from ‘Hasbro Syndrome’ (only one cutie mark). The plastic is a lot lighter though; doesn’t feel as robust. I also noticed one of the other copies in Sainsburys had a missing wing.
