It's sort of on the edge of my reach for casual meets, but not ruling it out. Will keep an eye out for things happening

Thanks, I was a latecomer to the MLP scene only discovering it at the start of the year. It was inevitable that I'd wind up here. Couldn't be happier :)

The Liverpool one only organise via Facebook, so if like me you don't have FB it's not very practical lol.
On UKoE most of the on site organized meets seem to be in the Midlands or the South East.

Start at Fishergate centre in warmth, grab a drink, head out? I'm free anytime but I guess the weekend will suit most.

Wanted to reiterate something discussed in the BronyScot chat - perhaps it wouldn't be too much to ask that a regular meet wasn't limited to just having a drink or two or browsing shops, but akin to the CMCs we'd do some affordable event every fortnight say; bowling, cinema, pleasure beach etc. It's sounding important that meets don't become stale by repeating the same content, which appears to be the fate of CCG events (for example).

    "Preston CMC's", anypony? :p

Think some CCG or bucklegacy would be good - drinks always good, shops can be fun - also changing venue occasionally. But lets get the first in the calendar first and see how it goes. will be the 17th at the earliest i think as 3rd is too close to plan, 10th is leeds.

As for me...I don't really have a reason for being down there :( Some sort of activity sounds good though like an arcade, miss anything like that around here.

I member, didn't it end up being the equivalent of a bath bomb :p

Lancashire Brony Hearth's warming eve Meet: Saturday 17th December 2016

    Dice And Donuts, Preston, 11:30am-4pm

Welcome to the first Preston MLP meet, and just in time for Heath's Warming Eve. Every local pony is welcome to this first gathering of the Lancashire herd in Preston. (This is not a large meet like the one in leeds.)

Our venue to Dice and Donut's a local gaming cafe that serves coffee, donuts, toasties and beer to the gaming crowd. We have a reserved table for what we assume will be a small friendly gathering.

The plan is to meet up at 11:30am at Dice and Donuts.
    • Swap presents via secret santa

    • use (hypnohooves provided, you dont need to bring your own) mlp ccg decks for a few games – or non pony games the venue has.starter

    • Chat

    • Have a light lunch and drinks of real coffee's and/or beers.
At 2:30pm to visit the makers market

    4pm formal end.

    Secret Santa

Bring a present and receive a present!. Those who want to can bring a small wrapped present suitable for a MLP fan to swap. £5 is the suggested value. (If you are short of ideas argos next to the venue has blindbags as £2 and ponies for 5).

    Makers Market

The Harris library has a makers market selling gifts, we will wander over for some unique present opportunities around 2:30pm

    Small print

I hope some of you will come If no one comes i can do my shopping and enjoy a drink or two anyway. But Let me know if you are coming so I can ensure we fit in the venue.

(note: dice and donuts do charge a cover charge but that is Hypnohooves treat to everypony, and the cover is free with the purchase of a few of drinks per pony anyway)
