A sofa in itself is awesome. Thank you very much!
What there a verdict on the definition of "Smart casual" in the end, @Spyker?
I'm kind of asking the same question, since I personally think it's subjective due to differing interpretations of what people define as 'smart casual'. My definition would be pretty much like what I wear to work on a daily basis (chinos, shirt, Hush Puppies), so I hazard a guess this will pass off as being 'smart casual', unless I'm wrong.
Well we have finally worked this out with the venue, there was a little confusion with a change in their management so we said smart casual until we had worked something out, now that we have, brony attire is perfectly fine, cosplay as well but with conditions (details on the details page)
So yeah jeans and brony t-shirts are fine.
OK one big flank of a cake ordered.
I still don't think it will feed everyone so first come first serve
*dives for the cake head-first*
OK registration deadline has been extended.
Are there any details published on the time and location of the pre-meet? I can't seem to find anything about it.
I am hopefully booking a venue to watch the episode at 3:30 for the Saturday. This will just be for an hour.
As for meeting at midday I'm thinking a coffee shop of somekind, however I have no idea how many people will come to it and I'm struggling to find one that could take 50 bronies or more
I'm not convinced you will - Perhaps a coffee shop which is already somewhere indoors so that people can spill out of the coffee shop if needed?
Well suggestions please ^^ I would prefer not a pub or restaurant though.
Starbucks Victoria ftw
I would agree not a restaurant, although pubs are often quiet and family-friendly during the day). I have too little knowledge of London to offer real suggestions but off the top of my head I was thinking like someplace in a shopping centre or station.
EDIT: Victoria is kinda in the wrong place for where the party is going to be (Liverpool St is just round the corner)
I'd say Liverpool Street McD's but that seems a little low class
Liverpool St must have a coffee shop or pub tho. Not just a McD's
Yeah, there are like 3 Starbucks at Liverpool Street. A couple of Costas too.
I'll just watch the episode online, if the worst comes to worst. I'm not too bothered about missing it.
So I haven't had a change of heart and I'm totally still going. First meet I've gone to in nearly two years without a friend along for the ride. Holy damn.
Expect the Anders.
we ok well unless someone cancels you will be on a late entry ticket. We are fully booked for full spaces now.
Mate I already booked in ages ago
