    Name: Sgt. Roger L. Tango

    Race: Unicorn

    Gender: Stallion

Age: Young Stallion (23-28 human years)

Physical Description: Tango has a "Forest Green" coat. Big, husky, powerful build. Brown eyes and mane, but you can't see his mane due to the uniform cap he always wears. The rest of his uniform proudly establishes him as a highly decorated soldier. The stripes of his forelegs say that he is a Sergeant Major. He also has a steel rod replacing his left hind leg that he lost during the course of battle.

Special Talent: Tango's bravery and loyalty seemingly knows no bounds. This is displayed by the star-shaped cutie-mark on his flank. He will simply do what other ponies won't and he pushes his commitment and valor to the extremes.

Primary Residence: He splits time between a townhouse in Riversdale and a military base at Ft. Gary.

Personality: Tango in his youth, was a laid back social pony, but his service in the military has changed all that. He is now very stoic and quiet, saying very little. He also a very blunt pony, getting straight to the point and not sugar coating anything. His is very respectful and kind to some, yet cold and mean with others. Unfortunately because of his training he still sees Equestria as "the enemy", but like most things he keeps it to himself.

Past/History: Tango is the descendant of an ancient tribe of native indigenous ponies called the "Machiza" who once lived in the lost city of Anazuni in Western Cavalla. Growing up in Riversdale, he heard his grandmother tell old stories of great warriors, and hoped to be one himself someday. Once he was old enough, he enlisted to the URC Army. During his training he was told that they may be going to war with long time enemy, Equestria, in the near future. Instead, a civil war broke out. The civil war was unpopular, and led to bad publicity for the soldiers. Even still, Tango gave his all on the battlefield. After serving for two years, he was discharged and sent home. When he returned home, his threw a "Welcome Back!" party for him and another fellow soldier. The party eventually got really rowdy and demanded attention from the police. This caused a standoff and eventually grew to be The Great Riversdale Riot. The riot lasted for seven days and ended with 60 ponies dead. Although he won't admit it, the riot scared Tango. It was worse and anything he'd seen of the front lines. Feeling somewhat responsible and guilty, he returned to service. By this time, the tide of the war had turned. The Cavallian Army was now delaying and inevitable loss. During this tenure, he lost his left hind leg. He was awarded the Cavallian Medal of Bravery, and as again discharged. Still scarred by the riot, he explored other military options. He served for 16 months at the top-secret military base in Ft. Digit. There, he saw things that were strictly confidential. This lead to his current stoic demeanor. Also, while at Ft. Digit he impressed the military elite and worked his way up to Sergeant Major. After that, he was finally sent home. He now is a part-time sergeant at Ft. Gary, and the war is now over. He looks forward to moving on with his life and re-joining society. Most of all, doing his best to stamp out civil dispute and unrest that fueled the riot, and making home a safer place.

Written Sample: Trumpets blared loudly through the still, hot, desert in Ft. Digit. Soldiers stationed at the fort marched in formation presented the nation's flag. Abruptly, they stopped. A loud voiced pour out over the intercom.

"Attention Cadets! Ft. Digit shall now observe the honorable discharge of Sergent Major Roger L. Tango of Riversdale, Central District."

A lonely trumpet played the national anthem . Tango slowly walked out of the base, into the heat of the desert. Cadets saluted him. To them, he was a hero. When he finally reached the end of the line. General Ivey of Special Operations fleet, his superior during the war was there to greet him. General Ivey shook his hoof.

"You've proudly served your country for almost a decade. You were one the of the finest soldiers I've ever seen. You're heart and commitment was unlike anything I had ever witnessed. It was an honor going to battle with you." with that, the General saluted him. Tango saluted back. Tango then got in a jeep headed back east, never to return.

Changed some things around, his rank is now a Sergant Major instead of Staff Sergant, and he's now in his mid 20's.
