Just finished doing these so I figured I'd share these with y'all!

Don't be alarmed by any missing limbs or cutie marks; they'll be there in the final animation; Spike ain't no worm! Rarity won't have a tail in the final flash, as I'll be having that slightly off screen due to the angle.

    EDIT: Woah look, a background!

Try not to let your imagination run, uhh, TOO wild.

I saw this and my initial thought was, sea-pony Spike?
Regardless of that, these are pretty good - though shouldn't Spike have a nostril? - what software do you use? I'm taking a shot in the dark with Adobe Illustrator?

Haha that's my biggest problem whenever I draw MLP characters; I always goddamn forget nostrils!

To make these I've been using Adobe Flash CS5.5; gives me more control when it comes to making them animateable.

I know the feeling, I'll look at a finished piece and be like, "What's missing... oh yeah..."

    And I see; good choice!

First post updated with pretty much finished Rarity

Now all I need to do is sort out some mouths for lipsync and do a background, then I can get started animaing!

Keeping the exact nature of it secret, but it's going to be another Adult Swim audio clip!

Dragons were called 'great worms', so... it's pretty accurate :)

This makes me want to play either WoW or Monster Hunter Tri. Mostly the latter. For some reason.

    Monster Hunter?
    I am proud.

Monster Hunter is absolutely amazing. As pretentious as this sounds, it's underrated.
    Thus, I am likewise proud.

Digression aside, I wish I had some sort of artistic capability like yours, Denegoth. Bravo, indeed.

I understand what you mean with it being under-rated as such; blast Japan for keeping Monster Hunter 3G to themselves.

And yes, Denegoth's artistic endeavour is one to be proud of. I look forward to seeing more from him in the future.

I only ever played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and hated it due to the obnoxious farming gameplay and ridiculously simplistic combat system. Are the other games better at all?

While I could totally take the latter thing to heart, I made these in the same way people make vectors for the sake of 100% show accuracy, so nothing special here!

Monster Hunter Tri was... Interesting; I didn't give it the time it deserved but it was more fun in the fighting section. Being able to go underwater was a real novelty I enjoyed.

Never played MHFU. But can't be that good, judging from your description. You should try Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on the PSP or Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii. (I know that console may evoke reluctance)
