Anything thats made by BBC 3.
(However not Gavin And Stacey)
In fairness I did like The Mighty Boosh, and Family Guy can be ok at times.
But as a whole not a Channel I have much time for.
I can't hate BBC3 when it gave us Being Human but since that finished, yeah I've not really watched BBC3 at all (apart from Family Guy). I thought the first series of Cuckoo was okay. Not got round to watching series 2 though.
The thing about BBC 3 is that they try to be cool and hip, what they do is they think all teens want rubbish shows, but because they put on dumb shows it will make the viewer think "Maybe I should act like that".
BBC 3 today hardly makes their own shows and when they do they are putting out the stereotype teen.
Okay really all I was saying is bring back Blackadder, Monty Python, The Young Ones and Blackbooks.
And for godsakes stop airing shows that are trying so hard to be like The Inbetweeners and failing miserably.
The Only Way is Essex for me. My best mates sister watches it and it makes me cringe..
I think Russell Howard's right why DON'T we have more shows about Stephen Fry? Ah well...we've always got QI with him I guess.
And they cancel all their best shows (being human, mongrels) and let things like Mr & Mrs (that was never very good in the first place) run into the ground.
ahh Black Books one of my favourite ever comedies. Odd one to mention here as it was Channel 4 mind.
I'll admit it had its moments and could be funny on certain occasions, but for most part I felt it was a show that tried a little bit to hard to be offensive and shocking.
If you don't know what this is, it was an animated show with characters based on real cartoon characters in a Big Brother style house.
You had characters based on Spongebob, Pikachu, Superman, Zelda, and a Disney Princess voiced by Tara Strong.
Like I said the show had its moments but I think it was trying way to hard to go for the South Park style offensive humor. I love South Park and its offensive humor, it works because its cleverly done.
This however felt it was doing it just for the sake of being controversial..
"Hey guys look!, we just made fun of Black/Gay/Jewish people how shocking are we?!"
Not really, South Park already did it and they did a better job than you.
So yeah there are worse shows out there, but this wasn't all that.
Made in Chelsea. Or as my family and I call it, 'White Middle Class Dickheads, The TV Show'.
That, and Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Not because it was hugely awful or offensive or anything, just that it is basically one long season of wasted potential. The big anniversary season, tonnes of crossover episodes, building up to a massive battle featuring every power ranger who has ever existed. This should be awesome!!! But instead, we get lame monster-of-the-week shenanigans, the guest rangers are secondary characters at best and split-second cameos at worst, and the climatic crossover battle is over in a matter of minutes, once again coming back down to the Megaforce Rangers defeat the monster, day is saved. LAAAAAAME!
Live At The Electric, one of the least funny comedy shows ever. I didn't laugh once. Not everyone on it was bad either, they had a couple of people on who are really good in other things and even they couldn't save it.
Hate to say that I'm inclined to agree, characters blurting out how "AW'SUM" everything is with flip all context to get down with the hip kids. I really hate that freaking expression. 'AW'SUM' sucks, burn it like a witch.
With that said, any show that intently speaks down on us with abundant buzzwords makes me curse at the heavens. It's kind of getting out of hand.
IT'S CALLED SUPER MEGAFORCE
what did you expect, gripping suspense and amazing CGI and good use of character?
I didn't expect that from Power Rangers in Space or Power Rangers Time Force or Power Rangers RPM either, but there it was.
I know. I happened to be mentioning exactly how cliché the name was, not the fact it's Power Rangers.
Although Power Rangers in Space sounds a little old-timey.
Worst Show Ever Without a doubt Millionaire Matchmaker
I leave the room if my mother puts it on
