I don't leave the house often. Or wear a pony shirt. I fear for my life with the chavs about
Oh sure, but I was only after the muffins so I gave all the money etc back.
Hmm, if you were at BUCK you might well have seen me anyway without realising it.
see a guy with a purple vinyl shirt with a vinyl cutie mark pin that was light up? Green camo trousers, black hair, and a black packback
To be honest, I can't remember. A lot of BUCK is a bit of a blur; maybe it was the cider. Rings a very vague bell, but I was too shy to talk to most people I didn't already know.
@Loganberry does a good line in subtle pony attire
Arrrrrrghhhh! Chavs!! *Runs around in circles* The bane of my life.
Only in this fandom would wearing a bright yellow shirt with enormous (and obviously female) eyes on the front be considered "subtle".
*waves* I used to go to Kidderminster College once upon a time.
Well, I took images there; http://imgur.com/a/1SMfc#0
You didn't have purple hair like Vinyl ( Fifth image) ?
my first brony meet-up was a total succses and for october the 2nd it was the best thing every (that will happen to me in a long time) lol
it was really nice to meet you all and i enjoyed my first meet so thankyou
Nice to see new faces as well as old ones today. Thank you to everyone for coming!
Nice to see you all again! This must surely be our largest meet yet! I don't think they can really be called 'mini' any more
Any thoughts about the venue? With that number of people coming, I think the only alternative is The Postal Order, the coffee places are too small. For those of you who know it, which pub do you prefer? I'm generally happy with The Slug, except for the background music which made it hard to hear people sometimes. And the lack of fruit teas
the venue was fine in my oppnion as it was easy to find and easy to sit outside/ inside but i did't notice the background music ?
The S&L seemed nice enough for the most part, though I agree with you about the difficulty in hearing people sometimes. It seemed a small step up in class (and prices) from The PO but on the minus side it didn't seem to sell muffins. Presumably it will be rather busier on a Saturday, but if we have the meet around 2.30 again, things should have started to calm down after lunch.
The barman seemed mildly tetchy at the start when we took a while to decide what to order, but after that he and the other staff were fine. Near the end, when there were only three or four of us left, the woman who came to clear our table had a brief chat with LunasNightmare about his Twilight plushie -- she didn't know what it was, but she did say it was nice.
Really, all I ask for is a place where I'm not going to feel unsafe in a pony shirt, where we won't be glared at for making one drink last two hours, which isn't 18+ and where the staff aren't actively hostile. Both pubs seem to qualify on that score.
as above really it was quite a nice place no grumbles here
Yea, I agree. Both places were fine really, so I don't mind too much, however the S&L was a little more pricy (the drinks were sort of right on the limit of being affordable, and I probably wouldn't buy any food there). The PO also has the benefit that the WiFi seemed to work most of the time.
wow so many people at least 10 it was so amazing espeicaly plying the pony stack game...
Thank you to everyone! It was impressive to see what I think is a record turnout for Worcester. Sorry I was a bit out of it for the last hour or so -- I haven't been well recently and tbh I was getting extremely tired. But it was still a good day, absolutely. I hope everyone made/makes it home safely.
you know what i think pony stacking should be a game....
there thats better....
